I had a bit of a 'whoa, Freudian slip' moment this am. In discussing plans with two couple friends for Canada Day, I replied to an email saying...
'will it only be the 6 of us?'
As in 1 couple, 2 couples and me 'couple' = 5 people, not 6.
Some habits do die hard....
