You dirty people, minds outta the gutter!
It's better than extreme sports. Seriously. I've now had the gumption (or cojones if you prefer) to ask two people out on dates since becoming single. And even though the first one said "no" (although he still stays in touch--bizarre) and the jury's still out on second date prospect, it's quite the rush. I mean, really, the adrenaline high from it, well, yowsah! I can totally see why people do extreme sports or ride rollercoasters, etc. to get that same rush. It's kind of addictive. I highly recommend it - that is if your ego's up for rejection which mine seems to take rather well. Their loss I say! ;o)
